Concerto competition

To Aspiring young artists, Competitions are an exciting performance opportunity as well as a valuable tool for building performance skills and repertoire.

Throughout the week all students enthusiastically support and learn from these many opportunities at the festival.

Now in its 16th year, this competition offers each of the winners a glorious performance at the "Festival Orchestra Concert" in Benson Great Hall with the YAWPF Festival Orchestra and Marlene Pauley, Music Director and Conductor, and featuring members of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra and other professional musicians. It's an exceptional celebration and learning experience for the entire Festival. The chosen winners are cheered by their peers, as everyone attends the performance!  An exciting and memorable concert for all!
